with NPR Science Correspondent Joe Palca

Joe Palca NPR
Joe Palca’s career started as a PhD scientist before he hit the radio airwaves. As part of his Lemelson Foundation-funded Joe’s Big Idea program, his goal is to connect young scientists and engineers and help them become better communicators. His talk will share tips and stories on how scientists and engineers can improve how they explain to the public what they do and why it’s important. Q&A session included.
