Makerspace

Purpose: A new makerspace for students and student groups to ideate and prototype. 

This lab will be run primarily by undergraduate students who want to help others in using the space and provide tools and equipment. Undergraduate lab assistants will take safety training, plus sign-up and oversee students using the lab. With that responsibility of watching over others, assistants will have access to extended lab hours to use the equipment as needed. 

Capabilities: Work tables, hand tools and power tools with expanded capabilities being added daily.
