The College of Engineering is developing professional degrees, certificate programs and other distance learning courses to meet the needs of busy working professionals. Current offerings include: Certification in Practice of Data Analytics, Green Building Methods, MATLAB Programming for Engineers, Municipal Planning and Zoning Practice and Remote Pilot Prep Training. Online degree programs

Master of Science in Welding Engineering 
Ohio State's Welding Engineering program has a long history of supplying top-notch welding engineers to the worldwide manufacturing community. In order to expand the availability of a welding engineering education to a wider audience, an online MS Welding Engineering degree program was established in 2003. This program is designed for individuals who are working in welding engineering or a welding-related job and wish to achieve a graduate degree, or obtain graduate credit, in welding engineering. Master of Global Engineering Leadership Degree
The Master of Global Engineering Leadership (MGEL) is a degree for practicing engineers who want to increase their technical expertise as well as their management acumen. The MGEL degree makes this possible in a single degree through a distinctive, comprehensive curriculum taught by Ohio State faculty from the colleges of engineering, business and public policy. Online For-Credit Graduate Certificates 

Both certificates are delivered 100% online and upon completion students receive an official certificate from The Ohio State University Graduate School. 

Cybersecurity Offense and Defense Certificate
The Cybersecurity Offense and Defense Certificate (CODC) enables students to broaden their knowledge or open new opportunities in a professional career helping to solve cybersecurity challenges in both government and business.
