BMEGSA and Ohio State's BMES student chapter will hold their 3rd annual Engineering in Healthcare: Industry and Research Symposium (EH: I&RS). This event showcases exemplary research from engineering graduate and undergraduate students and facilitates networking between students, faculty,
industry representatives, and the public.

Participating companies include: OrthoFix, Rev1, Cleveland Clinic, Indigo, MedPace, Viscus Biologics, LLC, Nanofiber Solutions and Cook Research, Inc.

Guru Gurushankar, PhD, Vice President and General Manager, Strategy Incubation, Medical Devices and Diagnostics at Cardinal Health Medical Segment, will be the keynote speaker for this year's Symposium.

Agenda:

9:00am-10:00am Continental Breakfast and Registration
Grab a delicious breakfast and set up your booth with the help of
BMES and BME-GSA officers.

10:00am-11:00am Keynote Speaker
An influential member (TBA) of a healthcare based company will
give a talk about his/her career path and the role research has
played in their success.

11:00am-12:00pm Industry Panel
Professionals working within notable companies will be on a panel
to talk about their career path and experience in industry and how
research plays a role in their company.

12:00pm-1:00pm Lunch
Enjoy complimentary food and refreshments.

1:00pm-2:00pm Graduate Student Research Breakout Session
Listen, observe, and network with the graduates of The Ohio State
University as they present their research and potential translation
from academia to industry.

2:00pm-3:00pm Networking Session
Opportunity for company booths and industry representatives to
advertise potential full time and internship openings and network
with other attendees.

3:00pm-4:30pm Poster Session and Awards
Undergraduate and graduate students present their industryfocused
research while company representatives can judge
posters. Awards will be given at the end of the session.
