Buckeyes Behind the Scenes will bring together College of Engineering alumni and friends at the Columbus Idea Foundry for an evening dedicated to exploring and empowering our “inner makers.” Guests will be able to experiment with screen printing, virtual reality and laser cutting, with an optional Idea Foundry tour.

The Idea Foundry is a place where anyone can explore their urge to make things. It is both a physical place – 60,000 square feet of workshops and offices; working nooks, classrooms and communal spaces – and a state of mind; the belief that each of us has the potential to bring our ideas to life if given the space, the equipment and the support to empower our inner maker.

Parking

Surface lot and street parking available surrounding the Columbus Idea Foundry.

Cost

This event is free, thanks to the generous support of the College of Engineering. Two drink tokens and heavy appetizers will be provided.
