Biography
Rashad Alirhayim is a PhD candidate in City and Regional Planning at The Ohio State University. Her research focuses on inclusive planning, immigrant communities, and community engagement. Most recently, she authored "Place attachment in the context of loss and displacement: The case of Syrian immigrants in Esenyurt, Istanbul".
Prior to joining The Ohio State University, Rashad received a Masters in Sustainable Urban Development from The University of Oxford and a Bachelor's in Architecture from The University of Bahrain.
