Video: Aerospace Research Center in a Nutshell
There are more than 40 faculty involved in aerospace and aviation research at The Ohio State University. Established in 2013, the Aerospace Research Center serves as a forum for these researchers and 50+ students to collaborate on next-generation technologies and solutions.
"We conduct a wide array of research topics, but we can break that down into three general areas: jet engines, the efficiency of flight, and UAVs or drones," said Jim Gregory, director of the Aerospace Research Center and a professor of aerospace engineering. "We have a unique asset here in The Ohio State University Airport. This airport facility enables us to extend our research from fundamental basic studies in the lab, to practice, all the way to flight."
