Reaching out for diversity

It’s a well-known and frustrating fact: women and minorities are underrepresented in engineering professions worldwide. 

At Ohio State, we believe we need our brightest minds and most diverse viewpoints to engineer solutions to society’s toughest challenges. That’s why the College of Engineering hosts a variety of summer camps for kids of all ages, including WiE Grow for eighth grade girls (sponsored by ScottsMiracle-Gro) and Camp Engineer, for minority middle schoolers.
