Her proposal on "Sparse Parameter Estimation for Super-resolution Imaging" was one of 35 proposals awarded out of 134 submitted.

The awards provide seed money for research by junior faculty at ORAU member institutions to enrich the research and professional growth of young faculty and result in new funding opportunities.

Chi’s research interests include high-dimensional data analysis, statistical signal processing, compressive sensing, machine learning, wireless communications and networks, and active sensing. She received a PhD in electrical engineering from Princeton University in 2012.
