Of the Engineering degrees awarded, 1,293 were bachelor’s degrees, 485 were master's degrees and 157 were doctorates.

Bachelor degree candidates are eligible for three types of honors. In academic year 2013, 380 students received Latin Honors, 98 students received Honors in Engineering or Architecture, and 83 students received Engineering or Architecture Honors Research Distinction.

Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education and Student Services David Tomasko is grateful for College of Engineering staff involved in making graduation day possible.

“From the academic advisors and student workers tracking down missing grades to the staff volunteers assisting with line-up and collecting post-graduation plans from our graduates, the last few days before commencement are a blur of activity in the College office,” said Tomasko. “Thanks to Cheryl Yeack for keeping us all updated and on task. Our staff is an incredibly committed group and we owe them a huge thank you!”

“The most rewarding part of an administrative position is seeing the beaming smile on a new graduate as you hand them their diploma,” he added. “Number 900 is as exciting as number one.”
