College of Engineering steps up Campus Campaign game in big way

Posted:

The College of Engineering is proud to announce that 44% of faculty and staff participated in this year’s 2013 Campus Campaign, a 71% growth compared to last year.

This increase was the largest of all units across the university.

Nearly 6 out of 10 faculty members took part, bringing the College of Engineering participation ranking to 7th out of 14 colleges.

“A college that believes in itself invests in itself,” said Dean David B. Williams. “The success of our College of Engineering fundraising begins in the College.

“Thank you to everyone who gave, and congratulations to all our unit leaders and volunteers whose efforts made this happen. You are all helping to transform the culture of giving in our college.”

Campus Campaign is an integral part of But for Ohio State, The Ohio State University’s $2.5 billion fundraising endeavor. Each year, through Campus Campaign, individuals are given the opportunity to generously express their belief in what Ohio State does by making a gift to the program, scholarship, research, or patient care area that means the most to them. Each contribution helps Ohio State to become the country’s most vibrant, most engaged, most forward-thinking public institution, to the benefit of people everywhere.
