Dispatch Features Underwater Robotics Team

Ohio State’s Underwater Robotics Team, one of the project teams available to College of Engineering students, was featured in the Columbus Dispatch article “Sink or Swim” by Spencer Hunt.

The Underwater Robotics Team seeks to apply engineering skills and techniques learned in the academic environment, by designing and manufacturing an underwater remotely operated vehicle named Carbon Carmen. 

Although the team didn’t qualify for the international Marine Advanced Technology Education Center’s 2012 competition, they will continue working hard on their goal to qualify and compete in this annual event.
