Bachelor of Science in City and Regional Planning
The program for a Bachelor of Science in City and Regional Planning leads to a four-year professional undergraduate degree. The degree qualifies graduates to sit for certification by the American Institute of Certified Planners after just four years of work as a planner following their bachelor's degree. The program combines a General Education Curriculum (GEC) with a major tailored to the profession. The major is divided into required and elective courses, and into lecture classes and service learning courses. Students take the required major courses and select from the menu of GEC and elective major courses in line with their interests and area of concentration.
