Did you know some students have access to ALL your old tests? What you should know about Chegg and Core Zero!
Chegg calls themselves “the leading student-first connected learning platform” <https://www.chegg.com/about/>, and for a fee will provide students with inexpensive textbook rentals, expert Q&As, step-by-step textbook solutions (over 6 million!), video walkthroughs, practice sets, and on-demand 24/7 online tutors. Chegg also has an extensive library of exams with answer keys from nearly every academic unit in the US, often uploaded in real time (i.e., during the actual time an exam is being offered). It is important to be aware of this tool, because you can be sure most of your students are. A group of faculty from OSU’s College of Engineering gathered via Zoom to discuss Chegg and brainstorm best responses to this reality in our classrooms.
