National Engineers Week (all events)

All dates for this event occur in the past.

National Engineers Week, or EWeek, was founded by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) in 1951, and is dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers.

Engineers play a vital role in innovating solutions to global challenges that impact future generations. By working together to develop new technologies, products and opportunities, engineers create new possibilities that make the world a better place. This year, the theme is "Creating the future," and Ohio State is proud to host a number of events as part of National Engineers Week.
