Intern Week

Virtual Intern Week, offered by Engineering Career Services, primarily targets first- and second-year students in their pursuit of an internship or co-op. Strategically placed the week before the SWE Fair (February 1-2, 2022), Intern Week is packed with virtual events to help students feel confident and comfortable navigating the fair and the spring job search. 

All engineering students are welcome to participate, as the programs cover a wide variety of topics and are not solely related to internships and co-ops. Events are virtual and conveniently spread out during the day throughout the week. Based on your class schedule and interest, attend as many events as you can. To attend these events, please register in Handshake and the zoom link provided. 

What to Expect 

• Featured Employers: Throughout the week, sponsors will be holding one-on-one prescheduled resume reviews and mock interview sessions. You MUST be registered with ECS to sign up for one-on-one slots.  

• Intern Networking Night: Speak with current Ohio State engineering students on January 27 in this casual setting to learn more about their past experiences and intern/co-op opportunities at the companies for which they worked. 

• Workshops and Labs: Learn from our sponsors and ECS staff how to perfect your resume, navigate the career fair, interview successfully and write your elevator via interactive Q&A sessions. 

• Prizes!: At each workshop and Intern Networking Night, local restaurant e-gift cards will be raffled off.
