Join members of The Ohio State University Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) and fellow alumni for an evening of networking and an inside look at the new initiatives of the department. After such a difficult and heartbreaking summer for so many, we hope you will plan to join us in support of each other for a relaxed night of fun and fellowship. This event is hosted by the College of Engineering in conjunction with our wonderful friends at Stress Engineering in Houston.

Joining us this year is Rudy Buchheit, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Administration for the College of Engineering, who will provide an overview of the exciting MSE building project along with other college news. In addition, welding engineering professors Antonio Ramirez and Boian Alexandrov will provide updates on Ma2JIC (Manufacturing and Materials Joining Innovation Center) and will share an example of how academia and industry can partner to solve materials science challenges.

The evening will conclude with food and drinks, along with chances to grab free Buckeye engineering swag and door prizes.

Program begins promptly at 5 p.m., with dinner at approximately 6 p.m.

This is no charge to attend, but please register so we can accommodate food and beverage needs.

RSVP by Monday, October 30.
