The Advanced Energy Vehicle (AEV) Project is an energy and environment design-and-build project for first-year engineering students that challenges them to create an Advanced Energy Vehicle transportation system. This year, students were tasked with creating an AEV that will be used at Jurassic Park. Jurassic Park wants to re-open its doors to visitors after being dormant and is looking for a monorail transportation system to transport its visitors into the park safely via a green, energy efficient and cost-effective system.

The university community and public are welcome to attend two special events on April 17 and 20, which showcase the efforts of these undergraduate engineers. Both events will include poster and/or video presentations, as well as live AEV competitions and demonstrations.
