BSET Transfer Credit Process for Students

  1. If you want to know the general transferability of courses to Ohio State, please first use Transferology to determine which courses may transfer. 
  2.  If there are courses on your transcript that don’t have a corresponding Ohio State course in the Engineering Technology space, complete one Qualtrics survey for each course. This will allow us to review your Engineering Tech courses: http://osu.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9p1t1qHiONTGfhI. 

How to Enter Transfer Credit into Transferology and Run Simulated Degree Audit 

1. Log in or create a Transferology Account

2. Under “Will My Courses Transfer?” enter courses you’ve already taken, and they will appear on the right side of the screen underneath "My Courses." Remember to enter the correct information to ensure it’s the right course number.

3. Once all of your classes are entered, click on the Program Tab and switch to "Search Programs."

4. Search for Engineering Technology and then filter by school name, The Ohio State University

5. Click on Program Information for the first search results, “Engineering Technology” and you will be notified, through the email linked to your account, about the information you have requested. You can either click the link in the email or the requested information will be under “My Program Requests” in the Programs section.

6. After clicking on the link or the underlined “ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY,” the simulated degree audit will appear. You may print or email the results by clicking the buttons in the upper right. Requirements that have been completed will be marked and courses that still need to be completed are stated under each section.
