The College of Engineering is excited to announce the inaugural Buckeye Engineering Grandparents Day!
A fun-filled day for engineering grandparents to bring their grandchild(ren) – ages 7-12 – back to campus to show them what engineering is all about. Hands-on STEM-related activities throughout the day to show just how fun and exciting engineering can be.
You will create lifelong memories as a family, and who knows, maybe you will be planting a Buckeye seed in their minds to follow in your footsteps!
The format for the day will include opening and closing group remarks and then attendees will have the chance to select two (2) activity sessions from the master list to fill out their day.
9:30-10am: Opening Remarks featuring Dean David B. Williams and a live demo
10:15-11:45am: Hands-on activity session 1
12:00-1:00pm: Buffett Lunch
Lunch will include actions stations from student organizations, the national champion EcoCAR 3 team and Camaro, a photo booth and additional demos
1:15-2:45pm: Hands-on activity session 2
3:00-3:30pm: Closing Remarks and group photo
Following the formal program will be a casual reception in the lobby of Dreese Labs. Additionally, feel free to explore campus and connect with faculty and staff.
