In 2015, FEH alumni Liza Toher-Reed '06 (Electrical and Computer Engineering), Marc Meckler '07 (Mechanical Engineering), Mark Morscher '89 (Electrical Engineering), and Dan Trares '06 (Computer Science and Engineering) - began work to create an endowed scholarship for current students in the program.

Thanks to their leadership over the last two years 156 supporters (plus 21 matching corporations) have given $90,827. This total includes more than $11,000 from Jim '69 and Pat Dietz as a match for gifts made by 17 recent alumni in November of 2017. In addition, the first two FEH Scholarships have been awarded. The 2017-18 recipients are Hali Midtlien, a biomedical engineering student from Bellbrook, OH and Brennan Muha, a chemical engineering student from West Chester, OH.

Additional support for the scholarship will mean more support for FEH students each year. Please consider making a gift.

"I changed my major from math to join the FEH program, and was overwhelmed with the experience, the support and the camraderie."

Liza Toher-Reed '06

Double Our Impact

$90,827 raised so far! Just another $9,173 to go!

If we can raise over $100,000 for the FEH Scholarship Endowment before 2020, the University - through the Ohio Scholarship Challenge - will match the scholarship's annual student awarding. This means DOUBLE THE IMPACT for the next generation of FEH students. Please consider making a gift today! We have less than $10,000 to go!
