Honors & Scholars Involvement

This dashboard provides an overview of students who participate in the university Honors Program and Scholars Program. Participants and trends are available for demographic categories including legal sex, race/ethnicity, underrepresented minority (URM) status and residency.

The dashboards can be filtered by student group, area of study, freshmen cohort and institutions (listed below):

  • Engineering
  • Knowlton School (Architecture, City and Regional Planning, and Landscape Architecture)
  • Affiliate Programs: Programs housed outside of the College of Engineering, but are not supported by departments within the college (Agricultural Systems Management, Air Transportation, Aviation, Computer and Information Science, Construction Systems Management, Data Analytics and Information Systems)
  • College of Engineering: Engineering and Knowlton School combined
  • College of Engineering and Affiliate Programs: Engineering, Knowlton School and affiliate programs combined

The freshman cohort is composed of new post-secondary students admitted to Ohio State on the Columbus campus for the autumn semester.

Underrepresented minorities (URM) include African American or Black, Hispanic, American Indian/Alaskan Native, and those who identify as two or more races, including at least one of the previous categories. Students are only considered as URM if they are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Faculty and staff are considered as URM without respect to residency status.
