Environmental Engineering Design Team

Every year a team of 4-6 students from OSU competes against teams from other Universities in Ohio Valley Student Conference. In 2009 the Environmental Engineering Design team successfully removed manganese from synthetic groundwater and placed 4th in the competition. In 2010 the competition will be held in the University of Akron.

Accomplishments

2005 - Competed in the WERC Environmental Design Contest

2004 - First Place in Task – Arsenic Removal for Small Drinking Water Systems; Dr. Hal Walker received the Mike Berger Outstanding Advisor Award.
