Administration
The main responsibility of the Associate Dean of Research is to assist faculty in identifying research opportunities, developing and strengthening collaborations with industry and the government, and assisting faculty in building and maintaining strong research programs.
This responsibility manifests itself in three broad areas:
- Oversight and management of the college research infrastructure including but not limited to the Engineering Experiment Station (EES) and the TREP Endowment.
- Coordination of faculty support mechanisms to include cost-share and matching equipment funds, faculty recognition and awards, and research related communications.
- Collaboration and liaison responsibilities with the office of research, the office of technology transfer, and the OSU research foundation.
