Ohio Science & Engineering Talent Expansion Program (OSTEP) is a partnership between The Ohio State University, Columbus State Community College, Washington State Community College and Stark State College of Technology to increase the number of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) graduates.
This National Science Foundation-sponsored program is designed to help students transition more easily into the freshman year in STEM majors and give them a head start in both the academic and non-academic sides of the first-year experience at The Ohio State University.
We highly encourage first generation college students, as well as underrepresented groups in STEM, to apply to the OSTEP Summer Bridge Program. This six-week academic program allows participants to attend rigorous classes that parallel the freshman science, technology, engineering, and math curriculum at Ohio State, as well as professional development activities.
