Reflecting Change
Increasing diversity isn’t just about doing what’s right — it is crucial for the future of engineering. The College of Engineering is mapping its course through its leadership.
When Jessica Winter gets together with fellow chemical engineers, she doesn’t see the same group of people others sometimes do.
Positive Energy
As scientists try to understand the forces that drive Earth’s climate, they are finding that our quest to harness energy sources — specifically, our use of fossil fuels — is having a profound effect on the world around us.
Recently, the Office of Research at Ohio State University formed an Energy Working Group to examine worldwide energy use and its environmental impact. In its 2006 report, the group detailed what Ohio State — including the College of Engineering — can do about the global energy crisis.
Champions

The ground beneath them is shaking.
