Ethics in Engineering Volume 3 September 11, 2009, 9:00 am - 11:00 am Dennis Guenther Dr. Guenther holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University (1968) and Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy Degrees from The Ohio State University in the same field (1971 and 1974). He has been a full-time faculty member of The Ohio State University Department of Mechanical Engineering since 1974 and presently a full professor, and a part time project engineer at S.E.A., Ltd. since 1971. He is a registered professional engineer by examination and is registered in 47 states. Dr. Guenther has been involved with forensic engineering and IP analysis since 1970 and a contractor with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) since 1979. He has published over 225 technical publications, the majority of them in the area of accident reconstruction, vehicle dynamics, occupant kinematics, occupant biomechanics, mechanical design analysis, and component testing/evaluations
