A free online course provided by The Ohio State University via Coursera

All dates for this event occur in the past.

Technology and Ethics is a free, seven-week online course that begins on April 21, 2014. The meteoric rise of technologies used in our everyday life for profit, power, or improvement of an individual's life can, on occasion, cause cultural stress as well as ethical challenges. In this course, we will explore how these multifaceted impacts might be understood, controlled and mitigated.

The course will be taught by Robert Bailey, emeritus professor of mechanical and nuclear engineering at The Ohio State University.
