Engineering Required Central Core Curriculum
The following classes comprise the Engineering Required Central Core Curriculum and are required for all engineering majors:
- Chemistry 121
- Engineering 181 and 183 (or the Honors equivalents)
- English 110
- Mathematics 151, 152, 153, and 254
- Physics 131 and 132
Please Note: Many programs require additional mathematic and science courses.
General Education Curriculum (GEC) Requirements
In order to assist students in developing their skills and abilities in a variety of areas, in addition to the General Education Courses (GEC) included in the Engineering Required Central Core curriculum, students are required to complete:
- Two writing courses

Additional Courses in the following areas:
- Social Sciences
- Historical Survey
- Arts & Humanities
